These two activities contribute to affective-engagement because pupils are part of a team and they are motivated to win. According to recognition, the students must be able to recognise the contents that we have seen in the class along the unit. 

I give them the information in two different ways. And talking about the last point, they have to think of a strategy in order to place their noughts and crosses strategically. They have to take part actively in the activity if they want their team to win the game and also the game contributes to oral expression. 

The purpose of it is to review the unit and mainly to sustain enthusiasm for learning.
